Instantly.ai Pricing: Two Subscriptions, One Real Number

The $47 headline buys sending only. Leads are a second bill. What follows is the full 2026 price list, the credit mechanics, and the math on what you will actually pay.

Instantly's pricing page is two price lists stacked on top of each other, and the first thing to untangle is that they bill separately. The Outreach plans ($47, $97, $358 a month) buy sending capacity: campaigns, unlimited connected inboxes, unlimited warmup. The Credits plans (from another $47 a month) buy access to the 450M-contact lead database. Neither includes the other, and to make it more confusing, both product lines have a $47 entry tier named Growth. If you arrive expecting one subscription, your card statement will correct you.

Most buyers need both halves, and Instantly knows it: the bundle tiers (Starter at $94, Scale at $194, Agency at $555 a month) exist precisely because sending without contacts, or contacts without sending, is half a product. So the honest starting price for a working cold email operation on Instantly is $94 a month, plus your own domains and mailboxes, which Instantly does not provide.

Below is every current plan with exact prices, the credit expiry rules buried in the terms of service, and the feature gates that push most serious senders off the cheapest tier.

What the pricing page doesn't tell you

The second subscription is the real price

No sending plan includes lead database access, and no credits plan includes sending. Growth sending plus Growth Credits comes to $94 a month, which is exactly what the Starter Bundle costs. Above the entry tiers it climbs fast: Hypergrowth sending plus Supersonic Credits is $194 a month, and the Hyper Credits tiers start at $197 a month on their own for 10,000 credits.

Credits expire even while you keep paying

Credits are consumed when you search, view, or export contacts, not just when you pull a finished list, so they drain faster than a per-lead mental model suggests. And per Instantly's terms of service, unused credits roll over at most twice into later billing periods before expiring. Stockpiling a quiet month's credits for a big Q4 push does not work.

The $47 plan gates the features you will actually want

Growth has no A/B testing, no Unibox unified inbox, and no advanced analytics; all three sit behind the $97 Hypergrowth tier. The binding constraint is usually the 1,000 uploaded contact cap rather than the 5,000 email cap, since a three-step sequence to 1,000 contacts only uses 3,000 sends. Most teams outgrow Growth in the first month.

Unlimited accounts are not free accounts

Unlimited connected inboxes means Instantly does not charge per inbox, but the inboxes themselves are your cost: sending domains run about $10 to $15 per domain per year, and mailboxes are billed by Google, Microsoft, or an SMTP provider on top. Woodpecker's 2026 analysis estimates $6 to $144 a month for a 20-inbox setup before Instantly's own fees.

No refunds, in writing

Instantly's terms of service state that all fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable, including partial and prorated refunds, whether the service was used or not. The 20 percent annual discount is real money, but it locks a year of fees behind that policy. Run the 14-day free trial (no card required) before paying, and start monthly until deliverability proves out.

How Instantly pricing compares to VisiLead

Instantly and visitor identification do opposite jobs. Instantly pushes email to cold contacts you bought or uploaded, and its economics depend on volume: thousands of sends to people who have never heard of you, converting at cold-outreach rates. Visitor identification works the warm end of the same pipeline: VisiLead puts one tracking script on your site (about a 2-minute setup) and tells you which companies are visiting, and for US traffic, which individual people, so your outreach starts with accounts that already showed interest. Plenty of outbound teams run both, pushing identified visitors into their Instantly campaigns through webhooks or Zapier.

The visitor-ID job costs less than a sending stack. VisiLead has a no-card free plan with 10 credits, then Starter at $29 a month for 100 credits, Growth at $79 for 500, and Scale at $299 for 2,500, where you only pay a credit for a successful identification and unidentified visitors cost nothing. Annual billing saves 20 percent. To be clear about the boundary: VisiLead does not send email and does not replace Instantly; it tells you who is already on your site so fewer of your sends have to go out cold.

Is Instantly worth it?

Priced by sending volume, Instantly is worth it once you are pushing 20,000 or more emails a month across a wall of inboxes: $97 for 100,000 sends with unlimited warmup has no per-seat equivalent. Below about 5,000 sends a month the $94 two-subscription floor buys capacity you will never use, and Woodpecker at $29 or Smartlead at $39 covers the job. Budget both bills, verify database exports before sending, and stay monthly until inbox placement proves out, because refunds are off the table.

Instantly pricing FAQ

How much does Instantly.ai cost per month?+

Sending plans cost $47 (Growth, 5,000 emails), $97 (Hypergrowth, 100,000 emails), or $358 a month (Light Speed, 500,000 emails). The lead database is a separate subscription from $47 a month for 1,500 credits. A working setup with both starts at $94 a month, which is also the price of the Starter Bundle that combines them.

Does Instantly have a free plan?+

No, Instantly has no permanent free plan. It offers a 14-day trial, no card needed, that covers the core sending features plus a small credit allowance to test the lead database. When the trial ends, active campaigns pause until you pick a paid plan.

How much does Instantly cost per credit or per lead?+

On Growth Credits, $47 buys 1,500 monthly credits, which is 3.1 cents per credit; Supersonic Credits at $97 for 5,000 works out to 1.9 cents. One credit is not always one lead: credits are consumed when you search, view, or export contacts, so effective cost per usable, verified lead runs higher, especially once you discard records that fail verification.

Does Instantly charge per user or per email account?+

No, and this is Instantly's strongest pricing feature. Every sending plan includes unlimited connected email accounts and unlimited team members, with warmup included free on all of them. You pay for monthly sending volume and uploaded contact capacity, not seats. The inboxes and domains themselves are still your own cost through Google, Microsoft, or an SMTP provider.

Is Instantly worth the price?+

At volume, yes: no per-seat tool matches $97 a month for 100,000 sends across unlimited warmed inboxes, which is why agencies standardize on it. Below about 5,000 sends a month, no: the realistic $94 two-bill minimum exceeds what lighter tools charge for the same job. The database subscription is the weaker half, given recurring accuracy complaints on G2 and Trustpilot, so price it separately when you decide.

What is a cheaper alternative to Instantly?+

Woodpecker starts at $29 a month for 500 contacted prospects and includes warmup and bounce protection, and Smartlead's $39 Base plan covers 6,000 emails a month with unlimited mailboxes. If the two-subscription structure is what bothers you, Apollo.io bundles a 230M+ contact database and sequences from $49 per user a month on annual billing, with a free plan to start.

Do Instantly credits roll over?+

Only briefly. Per Instantly's terms of service, unused credits can roll over at most twice into subsequent billing periods if your subscription renews, then they expire. Credits also drain on searches and contact views, not just exports. Size your credits tier to what you will actually consume monthly rather than banking on accumulation.

Know what you pay for, and what it returns

VisiLead starts free and tells you which channels actually close revenue. $29/mo entry, no annual lock-in, no sales call.
