Leadfeeder Review: Strong on Companies, Strict on Renewals

Disclosure first: we make VisiLead, which competes with Leadfeeder. So every rating, price, and complaint below names its public source and the date we checked it: October 25, 2026.

What is Leadfeeder?

Leadfeeder is a website visitor identification tool that matches the IP addresses behind B2B traffic to companies, then shows which pages each company read, how often it returned, and which channel brought it. It installs as a JavaScript snippet (directly or through Google Tag Manager) and sends identified companies to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zapier. Its G2 listing describes the underlying database as 60M+ companies and 400M+ contacts.

The name has moved around. Leadfeeder merged with Echobot in 2022 and the combined business traded as Dealfront; on March 24, 2026 it became Leadfeeder again, with plans and contracts unchanged and logins moved to app.leadfeeder.com. That history matters when you research it: plenty of reviews and price quotes online still say Dealfront, and some still cite an entry plan at €99 that no longer exists.

Recent additions listed on G2 include Leadfeeder AI (visit summaries and ICP scoring), no-code Workflows, ICP Insights, and an MCP Server in beta for asking Claude or ChatGPT about visitor data. The core output is unchanged, though: Leadfeeder tells you which company visited. In a July 2024 reply to a Capterra reviewer, its support team said its promise is to reveal companies, not individual visitors, and pointed to privacy law in many countries.

Quick verdict

Leadfeeder is a mature company-identification tool with a long integration list, and its 4.3/5 G2 average across 869 reviews is earned: reviewers credit lead generation, correct organization matching, and the HubSpot and Salesforce sync. Two things should weigh more than the rating. It stops at the company, so someone still has to work out who at a large account was reading your pricing page. And billing is where the anger concentrates, with annual renewals that buyers say arrived without a reminder. Buy it with the cancellation deadline already in your calendar.

G2 (checked October 25, 2026): 4.3/5 from 869 reviews, 62% five-star and 1% one-star. The most-mentioned praise is lead generation (18 mentions), accurate organization identification (11), and ease of use (9); the most-mentioned complaints are data accuracy, lead quality, and missing decision-maker contacts (4 mentions each). Capterra: 4.2/5 from 136 reviews, ease of use 4.5 and customer service 4.3. Trustpilot is the outlier at 1.9/5, but on only 14 reviews, mostly about auto-renewal and slow support.

Leadfeeder pros and cons

What it does well

  • A free Lite plan that does not expire: the last 100 identified companies each month, 7 days of visitor history, 20 credits, and unlimited users, with no card required
  • A 14-day trial of the paid tiers without a credit card, long enough to measure your own match rate before you pay
  • Broad integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Dynamics 365, Zoho, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Ads, and Zapier, per its G2 listing
  • Unlimited users on the listed plans, so sales, marketing, and customer success can work one shared account
  • Monthly billing exists on Discover and Activate, at about 43% more than the annual rate on the entry tier (€113 against €79)
  • European data-protection positioning: the G2 listing says it processes data under EU standards and is GDPR compliant, which helps with legal review at EU buyers

Where it falls short

  • Company-level only: you see the organization, not the visitor, and G2 complaints cluster on missing decision-maker detail and contacts that still need manual research
  • Renewal friction: a 1/5 Capterra review from September 24, 2026 describes a rule to cancel more than 30 days before renewal with no renewal notice sent, echoing an April 2024 review about the same 30-day clause
  • Trustpilot sits at 1.9/5 on a small sample (14 reviews); three arrived in July 2026, citing missing renewal notices, a push toward 12-month terms, and long phone holds
  • Price climbs quickly with volume: Discover runs from €79 to €309 a month on annual billing as identified companies rise from 50 to 1,000, and Activate starts at €369
  • Plan credits do not roll over at the end of the contract period; top-ups are sold separately in blocks of 100 to 5,000
  • A G2 reviewer (0.5/5) reports being billed in full because the billing contact and the account contact were different people and only one was notified

Euro prices from leadfeeder.com/pricing, checked October 25, 2026. Tiers count distinct companies identified per month, not visits, so the plan you need depends on how many different organizations reach your site. Credits (used for contact lookups) do not roll over at the end of the contract period, and top-up credits are non-renewing and valid for two years. The pricing page does not state a minimum term or cancellation rule; reviewers describe a notice deadline 30 days before renewal, so ask for the exact clause in writing before you sign.

Is Leadfeeder legit?

Yes. Leadfeeder is a long-running, legitimate vendor with 869 G2 reviews averaging 4.3/5, a merger with Echobot behind it, and a public rebrand from Dealfront back to Leadfeeder in March 2026. The company identification works as described, and G2 reviewers count accurate organization matching among its strengths.

What drives the 'is it legit' searches is billing. Capterra and Trustpilot reviewers from 2022 through September 2026 describe annual subscriptions that renewed after a cancellation deadline they say nobody reminded them of, and some describe escalation to collections afterwards. None of this is hidden in the product, but it is easy to miss in the paperwork. Two habits avoid most of it: set a reminder 45 days before renewal, and confirm in writing who the billing contact is.

Who should buy Leadfeeder

Leadfeeder fits B2B teams, especially in Europe, that want company-level visitor identification flowing into a CRM they already run, with several people working the same account list. The free Lite plan is a genuinely useful way to see which companies visit before paying anything. Skip it if you need the name of the person who visited, if your budget cannot absorb the jump from €79 to €300+ a month as traffic grows, or if you want monthly terms with no renewal risk.

Leadfeeder alternatives worth a look

Snitcher

From $49/mo (annual billing), 14-day trial

Best for: Company-level identification with monthly terms and every feature included

A Dutch tool with the strongest G2 profile in the category (4.8/5 across 248 reviews). Pricing tiers by identified companies, users are unlimited, and the pricing page says you can cancel anytime with no long-term contract. Like Leadfeeder, it names companies, not anonymous people.

Leadinfo

From €69/mo billed annually (€99 monthly)

Best for: European teams that want a Leadfeeder-style tool at a lower entry price

Another EU company-identification tool, priced on identified-company volume after a 14-day trial. Native HubSpot and Dynamics sync start on the Scale tier, and add-ons such as Autopilot and Leadbot cost extra.

VisiLead

Free (10 one-time credits); Starter $29/mo

Best for: Teams with US traffic who want to know which person visited, on monthly billing

Our own product, and a direct Leadfeeder alternative. VisiLead identifies companies worldwide and, on US traffic, the individual visitor by name, job title, seniority, and LinkedIn URL. Plans are monthly (Starter $29 for 100 credits, Growth $79 for 250, Scale $299 for 1,000), with one credit per newly identified company or person and repeat visits free. It is behind Leadfeeder on integrations: native CRM sync is still in development and there are no team seats.

Leadfeeder FAQ

Is Leadfeeder worth it in 2026?+

For company-level identification feeding a CRM, usually yes: G2 reviewers rate it 4.3/5 across 869 reviews and praise lead generation and organization matching. It is weaker value if you need individual visitors, which it does not identify, or if your traffic pushes you past the €79 entry tier quickly. Start on the free Lite plan and judge it on your own traffic before committing to an annual plan.

Can Leadfeeder identify individual website visitors?+

No. Leadfeeder identifies the company behind a visit through IP matching and can suggest contacts at that company, but it does not tell you which person was on your site. Its own support team said as much in a 2024 Capterra reply, citing privacy law. Tools that name individual visitors generally do so only for US traffic.

How do I cancel Leadfeeder?+

Check your order form for the notice period first, because the public pricing page does not state one. Reviewers on Capterra, including one in September 2026, say the subscription must be cancelled more than 30 days before renewal and that no reminder is sent. Cancel in writing, keep the confirmation, and make sure the billing contact on file is someone who still works with the account.

Is Leadfeeder the same as Dealfront?+

Yes, it is the same company and product. Leadfeeder merged with Echobot in 2022 and the business operated as Dealfront until March 24, 2026, when it returned to the Leadfeeder name. Plans and contracts were not changed by the rebrand, but many reviews and pricing articles online still refer to Dealfront.

Where is the Leadfeeder login?+

Since the March 2026 rebrand, Leadfeeder accounts log in at app.leadfeeder.com. Existing Dealfront logins were moved to that address as part of the change. If your bookmarks or SSO tiles still point to a Dealfront URL, update them to the Leadfeeder app address.

Does Leadfeeder have a free plan?+

Yes. Leadfeeder Lite costs nothing and shows the last 100 identified companies each month with 7 days of visitor history, 20 credits, and unlimited users. Paid plans also come with a 14-day trial that needs no credit card. Lite is limited enough that most active B2B sites outgrow it, but it is a fair way to test match quality.

Researching your GTM stack?

Whatever you pick for outbound, VisiLead shows you the companies and people already visiting your site, and which channels bring the visitors who convert. Free plan, no credit card.
